You will need to commit to a period of training in rescue and or medical techniques prior to becoing a full team member.
You should live or work reasonably close to our area and be available for call outs, often at inconvenient times as well being willing help us with the more mundane tasks needed for the day to day running of the team.
We also need to explain how we work and make sure you understand what is involved.
Our preferred method is face to face and you are cordially invited to come and talk through through the issues. If you contact us we will invite you to one of our weekly Tuesday evening meetings to discuss the way forward.
The team has a membership of about 50 people and come with a wide variety of interests and skills. We do not expect that everyone will always be available for call outs but it is important that we know what their availability is.
